OPPO Find X7 series will soon support 5.5G for the first time in the industry

OPPO Find series product manager Zhou Yibao announced today: “Let’s enter the 5.5G new mobile network era with everyone” and posted a screenshot of the phone. You can clearly see the 5G-A logo in the status bar. .

Blogger @digitalchatstation revealed that OPPO Find X7 series phones will soon support 5G-A, also known as “5.5G” for the first time in the industry, and the (new version) OTA firmware is ready. 5G-A can theoretically achieve a 10-fold increase in network capabilities such as connection speed and latency, with 10 Gigabit downlink + 1 Gigabit uplink. Currently, most new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3/Dimensity 9300 machines also support it in principle.

The OPPO Find X7 Ultra satellite communication version is expected to be released in the near future. It is noticed that this phone has been put on the shelves of China Telecom’s terminal product library. It has passed the 3C certification of the China Quality Certification Center. The model is PHY120 and supports up to 100W fast charging. Whether OPPO will announce this news at the new phone launch conference is also worth looking forward to.

At the 2024 World Mobile Communications Conference (MWC 2024) held in February this year, China Mobile released its 5G-A commercial plan: 5G-A commercial deployment will be launched in more than 300 cities in 2024, and it will strive to achieve 5G-A by the end of 2026. The full amount of A is commercially available.

5G-A (5G-Advanced) is a partial upgrade of the 5G network in terms of functionality and coverage. 5G-A works in parallel with 5G, and 5G-A is responsible for supporting some application scenarios with higher requirements. 5G-A has achieved significant improvements in network speed, latency, and number of connections. It also introduces new revolutionary technologies such as synaesthesia, passive IoT, and endogenous intelligence, which can better match the Internet of People, the Internet of Things, and the Internet of Things. Scenarios such as connected cars, high-end manufacturing, and perception.
