Currently, leaks regarding the cameras on the coming OPPO Find X6 Pro claim that the device will use a 1-inch main sensor. This is the second time that the industry is getting information about the coming OPPO flagship device adopting a large sensor on its main camera. Seeing this leak repeat itself under the space of a month from two reliable sources shows that it might be the actual case with the coming device.
The first tipster to make the camera abilities of the Find X6 Pro was Digital Chat Station via his Weibo channel. From his leak, we could gather not only the presence of the 1-inch sensor but also the capability of all three sensors to come with this device. According to him, the next generation OPPO flagship device will boast a triple 50MP camera setup comprising a main, ultrawide, and telephoto lens.

Following this line, Ice Universe has also confirmed the presence of a 1-inch sensor on the coming OPPO Find X6 Pro. The ability of the other lenses on the soon-to-launch smartphone was not available in the rumor from Ice Universe. But, from his tweet, we can tell that the coming flagship launch from OPPO will be a series of devices as he referred to the 1-inch sensor model as the “highest version.”
Just like the Find X5 series, the coming flagship series from OPPO will hold two main entries and a Lite model. From Ice Universe’s information, we understand that only the OPPO Find X6 Pro will make use of the 1-inch sensor. This type of sensor is already in use on a few devices from the likes of Xiaomi, Sony, and Sharp that are available for purchase in select regions.
