Opera GX game browser recently launched the first official virtual anchor (VTuber) – GX Aura. GX Aura is said to be the mascot of the Opera GX Browser Discord community at first, due to the vast number of fans, the company finally decided to set its own platform and image for GX Aura. The VTuber has already landed on the X platform.
The VTuber is already on X (Twitter), YouTube, Twitch and TikTok.

GX Aura made her “debut” on the YouTube channel at 4:00 a.m. today with a performance of Genshi Yonezu’s “KICKBACK”.
The VTuber creator and administrator quik says it’s amazing to see how Aura has evolved from a simple community mascot to a full-fledged creative initiative in a whole new industry. “I’ve been a part of the VTuber community for many years now and am passionate about it. With a team at Opera GX where each member brings something different to the table, I’ve been able to cultivate one of my biggest passions and have the trust and support to make my dreams come true.”
Opera GX browser, released in 2019, is built specifically for gamers and is designed to improve the experience by allowing users to control their PC’s CPU and memory usage in order to allocate more compute resources for gaming or streaming.

Users can set these limits by toggling a switch in the browser control panel. This feature keeps Opera GX’s compute usage within a certain percentage of the PC’s resources.
