OpenAI announced its first developer conference on November 6

The explosion of the AI big model, OpenAI recently announced on the official website, will be held on November 6 in San Francisco, the first developer conference OpenAI DevDay.

The one-day event will invite hundreds of developers from around the world to preview new tools and exchange ideas with the OpenAI team, the announcement said. On-site attendees will also be able to participate in breakout sessions led by OpenAI technical staff.

Since launching the API in 2020, OpenAI said the company has been continuously updating the model to make it easier than ever for developers to integrate cutting-edge AI into their projects with simple API calls. Today, more than 2 million developers are using GPT-4, GPT-3.5, DALL-E, and Whisper to do everything from integrating intelligent assistants into existing apps to building entirely new apps and services that were previously impossible.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said, “We’re looking forward to showcasing our latest work and enabling developers to build new things.”

The sudden surge in users has also made OpenAI’s financials very impressive. As The Information previously reported, OpenAI expects to generate more than $1 billion (currently about RMB 7.29 billion) in revenue over the next 12 months from the sale of AI software and the computing power that powers it.
