Oracle recently released VirtualBox 7.0.12 maintenance version update, focusing on repairing the previous version of the user feedback and the official discovery of the BUG, improved support for Linux Kernel 6.4/6.5, and preliminary support for Linux 6.6 update.

This update also fixes the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) save state problem and fixes the black screen and other BUGs.

- VBoxManage: Added improvements to the “list usbfilters” command.
- Unattended: Added support for Oracle Linux 8 and Oracle Linux 9 startup files.
- Linux Hosts and Guests: Fixed some “cross-domain write” kernel warnings.
- Linux Guest Additions: Added numerous fixes for the RHEL 8.9 and 9.3 kernels.
- Linux Guest Additions: Added more fixes for kernel 6.4.
- Linux Guest Additions: Added initial support for the OpenSUSE 15.5 kernel.
- Linux Guest Additions: Added initial support for kernels 6.5 and 6.6.
- Linux Guest Additions: Added version reporting for the “rcvboxadd status-kernel” and “rcvboxadd status-user” commands.
- BIOS: Support for ISA SCSI HBAs has been restored in the BIOS.
