OnePlus official announcement: first folding screen phone will be available later this year

OnePlus previously announced the launch of the global version of the OnePlus 11 flagship phone. OnePlus also showed off its first tablet, called the OnePlus Pad, and revealed that a new device is on the way — a new foldable that will be available in the third quarter of this year.

Recently, OnePlus overseas account @OnePlus reconfirmed that its first folding-screen phone will be available later this year. “It’s amazing how this flagship device combines fast and fluid DNA with an exciting new form factor.”

Weibo blogger @Digital questioning station previously broke the news that the new OnePlus folding screen machine is scheduled to be Q3, and the engineering machine adopts a 2K large screen folding. According to previous trademark registration information, OnePlus’ new folding screen devices are expected to be OnePlus V Fold and OnePlus V Flip.

Considering the closer relationship between OPPO and OnePlus, OnePlus V Fold and V Flip are likely to be based on OPPO Find N2 and Find N2 Flip, and the folding screen market will usher in new players. The OPPO Find N2 internal screen uses a 7.1-inch 1920×1792 mirror folding large screen, and the external screen uses a 5.54-inch 2120×1080 micro-curved screen, both of which support a high refresh rate of 120Hz.
