OnePlus Nord CE 3 HD rendering exposure, Appearance close to OnePlus X

Steve Hemmerstoffer, a tipster named OnLeaks, has shared high-resolution renders of the OnePlus Nord CE 3, citing foreign media outlet 91Mobile. The report claims that these renders are from one of OnePlus’ prototypes and may be closer to the final retail version.

The renders show that one of the major changes in the design of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 is that the curved edges have been changed to a flat surface, making the phone look very much like the OnePlus X. There is a centered perforated front camera at the top of the screen, and although the bezels on both sides are narrower, the chin is a bit thicker. On the left side is the volume button, and on the right side is the power button with a fingerprint sensor.

The back of the device has 2 large camera rings, but the top ring houses the main camera while the bottom ring houses the 2 cameras. There is an LED flash next to the camera island and the OnePlus logo in the middle. There is a microphone on the top, while the bottom edge has a speaker grille, a USB Type-C port for charging, and a microphone.

According to the leaked specs, the Nord CE 3 could feature a 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, rather than the AMOLED panel used in the Nord CE 2.

The device will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chip, complemented by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The camera will be equipped with a 108-megapixel main camera and two 2-megapixel secondary cameras. A 16-megapixel selfie camera will be on the front of the device. The fingerprint could be located in the power button on the side instead of the Nord 2’s under-screen fingerprint solution.

The phone will likely have a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 is expected to launch in the first or second quarter of 2023.
