OnePlus has announced that the Nord 2T phone is open for public beta testing with OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13. OnePlus Nord 2T users can navigate to Settings > About Device menu, select Join Beta Program and submit the required information to participate in the public beta.
The update focuses on new aquatic design, vibrant theme colors for a new experience, as well as new large folders, a new desktop folder experience, one-step opening of applications in folders, support for swiping through pages, and more. The home screen adds widget support.
For OnePlus Nord 2T applicants, you need to make sure you are running OxygenOS with firmware version CPH2401_11.A.17. Note also that the OxygenOS 13 public beta is currently only available for the Nord 2T models in India, and you must be an active OnePlus community member to be eligible to apply for the beta.
In addition, the beta may not be as stable as the official version, so it’s best to avoid using it on your primary device. OnePlus has prepared 5,000 spots for the beta.
The OnePlus Nord 2T is equipped with the Tiangui 1300 chip, features a 6.43-inch FHD+90Hz AMOLED display, supports under-screen fingerprint, and has a perforated upper left corner. Built-in 4500mAh battery, 80W fast charging, officially said to be able to charge from 0 to 100% in 30 minutes.
