OnePlus Ace Pro revised launch date announced; August 9

OnePlus was all set to announce its new OnePlus Ace Pro smartphone in China. But due to some unavoidable circumstances, the brand failed to host the launch event on time and delayed it. Now, as a further update towards it, the brand has officially announced the revised launch date of the upcoming OnePlus Ace Pro.

OnePlus Ace Pro revised launch date

As mentioned earlier, due to some geological issues, the previous launch event of the OnePlus Ace Pro was cancelled. Now the brand has confirmed that the device will be unveiled officially tomorrow i.e. August 9th, 2022. The event will go live in the country starting at 7 PM Chinese local time. The event will be streamed online on all the official social media handles of the brand.

OnePlus Ace Pro

However, the company will introduce the OnePlus Ace Pro device in China. According to rumours, it is simply the OnePlus 10T with a new name for the Chinese market. Similar technical features will be shared by the two devices. The software might have a difference, but otherwise nothing.

A 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz fast refresh rate is expected for the OnePlus Ace Pro. It will be a flat screen with a punch hole cutout in the centre for the selfie camera. The newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset and up to 12GB or 16GB of RAM variants will power the device. With a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary lens, an 8-megapixel secondary ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, it will have a triple rear camera setup. It might have a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
