OnePlus 9 Pro starts pushing Android 13 and OxygenOS 13 release

Back in September this year, OnePlus launched the Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 update for its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 10 Pro.

Now, OnePlus has started releasing the OxygenOS 13 update for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, devices that were launched last year. The update with a 5GB download size was initially pushed to members participating in the open beta program, but now more people are reporting receiving the update.

However, these pushes are usually done in phases, so it will take more time before it is pushed to all devices.

This update brings everything Google has in Android 13, along with OnePlus’ new Aquamorphic design language that delivers a smooth, vibrant and inclusive UI and animations inspired by the way water works in nature. There’s also HyperBoost GPA 4.0, Quantum Animation Engine 4.0, automatic coding of sensitive information in chat screenshots, and much more.
