Mysmartprice exposed information about OnePlus 11R 5G’s successor, OnePlus 12R 5G. In addition, well-known whistleblower OnLeaks also shared a design rendering of the OnePlus 12R 5G.
As can be seen from the rendering, the appearance of the OnePlus 12R 5G is very similar to the 11R 5G, but the screen has changed from a curved screen to a straight screen, and the border and chin are also very narrow. It is reported that the machine uses a 6.7-inch AMOLED 1.5K screen and supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
It is noticed that the rear camera of the machine also follows the design of the 11R 5G, but adds a telephoto lens, making a total of four cameras, namely a 48-megapixel main camera, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, 8-megapixel telephoto and 2-megapixel macro. The front camera is 16MP.
There is an iconic three-stage mute slider on the right side of the phone, and below it is the power button. On the left are the volume buttons, and on the bottom are the USB Type-C port, microphone cutout, and speaker grille.
In terms of hardware, reports say that the OnePlus 12R 5G will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The battery capacity is a 5500mAh battery, which is about 10% larger than that of the 11R, and supports 100W fast charging.
In terms of system, OnePlus 12R 5G will run OxygenOS 14 system customized based on Android 14. OnLeaks also claims that the OnePlus 12R 5G will be released in China in January 2024.
