This year it was one surprise after another from OnePlus. First, they dropped the standard OnePlus 10 and went straight for the OnePlus 10 Pro. Although, there was a bonus from the company, the OnePlus Ace or OnePlus 10R in some locations. A new device named OnePlus 10 Ultra was expected. However, it seems like the company will not take that road, instead, they will launch a new T-series smartphone, named OnePlus 10T 5G.

As revealed from the tweet by Max Jambor, OnePlus is working on a new OnePlus 10T smartphone. This will be the last flagship device launched by the company, this year. In the comment section of the tweet, Jambor also stated that there will be no OnePlus 10 Ultra.

It seems like OnePlus is bringing back its T-series phones that are usually launched in the second half of the year.  They took a year off with the OnePlus 9 but it seems like they are bringing back the same launch schedule for the OnePlus 10 series.

Jambor didn’t reveal any specs of the device in his tweet. However, if the OnePlus 10T 5G is really the rumored OnePlus 10 Ultra, then it may feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. This is the latest mobile processor from Qualcomm that was announced last month.

The new device is also rumored to have a 6.7” FHD+ screen, 4,800 mAh battery with 150W wired fast-charging, and a 50MP main camera developed in the collaboration with Hasselblad.

The smartphone will likely be made out of metal and glass. It is also expected to feature DDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 slash storage. There hasn’t been any official confirmation regarding the specs.
