OnePlus has a busy schedule this year. It was only a few months back, that the flagship OnePlus 10 Pro has globally launched, and just a few weeks ago, the OnePlus 10R was launched. But according to a tipster, the company is already working on a few devices. The most notable is a new flagship, named the OnePlus 10 Ultra.
OnePlus 10 Ultra specs, launch timeframe (rumored)
According to the tipster Yogesh Brar, the OnePlus 10 Ultra is entering its testing phase. But there hasn’t been any official confirmation yet. A lot of rumors have been going on regarding the specs of this new flagship device.
The OnePlus 10 Ultra is to feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chip from Qualcomm. But the main focus will be on the cameras.
According to past reports, the device will also carry an AMOLED display of 6.7 inches. The rear module will have a 64MP, 16MP, and 5MP camera. There will also be a 16MP front camera for selfies. Still, no confirmation, if these cameras will get the Hasselblad treatment.
The device is also supposed to carry 8GB RAM and a 5,000 mAh battery with an 80W fast charging capacity. A release date hasn’t been set yet for the device but it is supposed to hit the shelves during the 2nd half of 2022.
The tipster has also talked about another OnePlus device in his tweet. The device is supposedly named OnePlus 10 and it could be powered by Dimensity 9000 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, depending on the market.
OnePlus is planning to use chips like Dimensity 8000 and Snapdragon 888 chips for mid-range devices like the Nord Series. They are also working on a device that will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. But the company’s overall product listing and timeline are pretty complicated, according to the tipster.
