As in previous years, Samsung should hold a special launch event for the new Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 folding screen devices in August. Despite our relatively limited knowledge of the device’s form factor and configuration specifications (such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset), two new wallpapers reflecting the Galaxy Z Fold4 / Galaxy Z Flip4 smartphone-style have been spotted by eagle-eyed folks in the latest One UI Watch 4.5 beta firmware.
Compared to the Galaxy Watch dial earlier this year, the One UI Watch 4.5 beta firmware notably includes two new wallpapers with very different styles.
Presumably, Samsung is working on the same style of content for the new Galaxy Z Fold4 / Galaxy Z Flip4 folding screens. It’s just that the two “screenshots” are the much lower resolution (and somewhat blurry) due to the shape of the dial and screen resolution.
But with the launch of the new folding screen approaching (usually held in August), we can expect to see a “full version” of the high-resolution images soon.
