One more set of teaser images reveals Celestiq’s rear for the first time ahead of its unveiling on July 22

Cadillac seems to have got into the habit of teasing its upcoming Celestiq concept. We have been served portions of details on the new car through previous teasers and the latest teaser images give us more about the car’s exterior and interior. The latest sets of images though provide us the very first glimpse at the rear end of the vehicle and it certainly was one worth the suspense.

Celestiq’s exteriors: front and rear

The first hint that the unveiled rear gives is that the car would supposedly be a hatchback that would resemble the likes of the Porsche Panamera or Mercedes-Benz EQS. The image showing the front view reveals seven-spoke wheels that carry an intricate pattern. The wheels are encased in tires with a ‘Michelin Pilot Sport EV’ designation. Overall, the car depicts a low-slung fastback shape.

Celestiq’s interiors

The interiors of the car have four seats nicely dressed in red leather that confer a retro as well as a modernistic feel. It appears from the image that the rear seats have their own entertainment screens, control knob, and seat-adjustment controls. The trunk of the car looks heavily spacious. The console inside the car has a touchscreen and is provided with cup holders and an armrest. The car carries a multitude of screens. First is the widescreen on the dashboard, then there is a pair of screens, one each between the two front seats and between the rear seats. And finally, for the rear seats are those independent entertainment screens, installed on the backs of the front seats.

It is yet to be seen what changes the Celestiq concept car acquires by the time it reaches production. The complete unveiling of the car will happen in July 2022, however, the production car based on this concept would be seen on the streets no earlier than 2025.
