OLED TV prices are expected to drop significantly, South Korea’s Pusan National University recently made a major breakthrough in the mass production of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panels, developed a more economical and superior solution-processed (solution-processed) program. OLED panels are now mainly using multilayer vacuum deposition (VAC) solutions, while solution-processed simplified structure OLEDs have the advantages of low cost and mass production. oLED panels also have solution coating (SOL) solutions, but currently there are many challenges between mixing adjacent organic layers.
South Korea’s Pusan National University has made a breakthrough in solution processing solutions, with researchers developing a new thermally cross-linkable polyiminoarylidene (thermally cross-linkable poly), a solvent-resistant cavity-injection layer material with excellent film-forming properties, optimal energy levels and high mobility, making it possible to mass-produce OLED panels.
