According to the latest research from TrendForce, OLED display shipments are expected to reach 508,000 units in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 323%. In 2024, as OLED product sizes and specifications will become more diversified, and with the launch of 27-inch and 31.5-inch OLED products from two Korean panel manufacturers, competition will become fiercer, and it is expected that OLED monitor shipments will further exceed one million tower.
Currently, OLED displays on the market basically use OLED panels from LG and Samsung, such as the Samsung 34-inch OLED display and the LG 27-inch OLED display shown above.
According to previous reports, both LG and Samsung will launch OLED displays in more sizes next year. LG Display’s roadmap shows that 31.5-, 34-, and 39-inch OLED panels are on the way. Samsung will launch 27-inch 2K 360Hz and 32-inch 4K 240Hz OLED panels.
TrendForce predicts that 27-inch OLED displays will become the largest size among OLED products in terms of market share, while 31.5-inch OLED products may account for more than 10% of the market next year.
