The new car is a user-created modified car, based on Aion AION S MAX and the design inspiration comes from Based on the classic black warrior style, as well as the mythical beast Chilong in “The Classic of Mountains and Seas”. The new car is equipped with a 245-horsepower front single motor and a CLTC cruising range of 610km. It is expected to be officially launched in the second half of 2024. Last year, GAC Aion established the first pure electric modification club in China. This time the Aion S Black Dragon MAX modification plan came from Mr. Li, an AION S MAX owner in the club.
From the appearance point of view, the new car is equipped with a high-performance appearance kit. The front of the car is equipped with a wide front lip, and there are fixed wind wing designs on both sides, which can improve the aerodynamic performance of the front of the car. The front windshield is equipped with a magic gold colorful glass film, which looks very cool. The side of the car body is painted with the Chilong pattern of the mythical beast in “The Classic of Mountains and Seas”, which, combined with the black warrior paint, gives the whole car a murderous feel.
The new car is equipped with large-size blackened rims and low-profile tires, and is equipped with high-performance TEI Racing front six-piston red brake calipers and front 355mm lined + perforated brake discs. In addition, the rear of the car is also equipped with a very exaggerated large-size spoiler, which, combined with the diffuser design, can greatly increase the downforce of the rear of the car and improve cornering performance.
There is no upgrade in terms of power. The new car uses the front single motor of the AION S 80 Xinghan version, with a maximum power of 245 horsepower and a peak torque of 309N·m. The battery capacity of the new car is 67.9kWh, which supports fast charging and can be charged from 30% to 80% in half an hour. The CLTC cruising range is 610km.
