An idle fish seller shelved NVIDIA an RTX 40 top model public version of the graphics card cooling module. Previous rumors suggested that the module would be used on the RTX 4090 Ti model, but the latest rumors claim that NVIDIA has axed the RTX 4090 Ti card.
As you can see in the image above, the cooling module features a 4-bay thick design and the fan design is basically the same as the other RTX 40 public versions, but with a new fan in the middle of the heatsink to enhance airflow. The seller claims that the card features 22 heat pipes that are vertically embedded in the bottom heat spreader plate. Unlike regular graphics cards, the PCB of this cooling module is orientated perpendicular to the backplate.
Reliable tipster kopite7kimi said that the RTX 4090 Ti may have been axed, so it’s basically impossible for this cooling module to be used on RTX 40-series models.
Earlier this year it was announced that the RTX 4090 Ti would feature 18176 CUDA cores with 96MB of L2 cache, 24GB of 24Gbps GDDR6X memory, and consume 600W. For comparison, Nvidia’s now-introduced RTX 4090 has 16384 CUDA cores with 72MB of L2 cache, 24GB of 21Gbps GDDR6X memory, and consumes 600W of power. For comparison, NVIDIA has now released the RTX 4090 with 16384 CUDA cores, 72MB of L2 cache, 24GB of 21Gbps GDDR6X memory, and 450W.
