YouTube channel RedGamingTech anchor Paul in the latest video revealed that NVIDIA is currently developing and testing the RTX 50 series of graphics cards codenamed “Blackwell”, and said its performance is 2-2.6 times that of the RTX 40 series.
Paul said the consumer RTX 50 series graphics cards use a single CPU chip (Monolithic die) design, while high-end HPC servers will use MCM.
Paul said the RTX 50 series to TSMC’s 3nm process mass production, the process is specifically tailored to Nvidia graphics cards. The new process improves the SM and optimizes the ultra-high speed bus interconnect between SMs, which can significantly improve ray tracing/path tracing performance.
Paul says the RTX 50 Blackwell GPU will have GDDR7 memory, support for PCIe Gen 5, and can be clocked at over 3GHz in-game. i
