According to sources in Taiwan, China, Nvidia’s next-generation GeForce RTX 40 series “Ada Lovelace” GPUs are about to be released, and channel dealers have been stocking up on next-generation graphics cards for months.

NVIDIA has allegedly been stocking GeForce RTX 4090, RTX 4080, and RTX 4070 graphics cards since August. “Yes, the next generation of GPUs has been waiting for us…in the warehouse…dormant.”

In addition, there are GPU suppliers who said that their first batch of GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards arrived in August, such as several RTX 4090s that were exposed recently.

Another source said that NVIDIA will announce the new GeForce RTX 4090, RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 during next week’s “GeForce Beyond” special event, which will be available starting in October.

Additionally, NVIDIA will release its next-generation mid-range GeForce RTX 4060-series GPUs in January 2023, most likely at CES 2023, and go on sale shortly after.

Some people in the industry believe that there is still a large inventory of Ampere-based GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards, which makes suppliers unsatisfied and may affect the launch of RTX 4080 and 4070.

@Moore’s Law is Dead also stated that his AIB sources were unhappy with having so many Ampere GPUs that it threatened NVIDIA’s next-generation Ada Lovelace GPU allocation.
