Lenovo released a new generation of IdeaPad Pro 5 series notebooks yesterday, equipped with a new generation of processors, and also exposed Nvidia’s RTX 3050 6GB mobile GPU.
Nvidia’s current RTX 3050 GPU uses the GA107 GPU, has 2048CUDA cores, and is equipped with 4GB of video memory. The new RTX 3050 CUDA core is unknown, and the video memory has been upgraded to 6GB.
Not long ago, a Samsung notebook appeared on Geekbench, equipped with an i7-13700H processor, a graphics card with 20 computing units, and equipped with 6GB of video memory. Now it should be RTX 3050 6GB. The RTX 3050 6GB OpenCL scored 72,497 points, compared to the RTX 3050 Ti’s 50,000-70,000 points.
In addition to the RTX 3050 6GB, Lenovo’s new generation of IdeaPad Pro 5 series notebooks will also be equipped with an RTX 4050 GPU, and there is no information about its parameters.
According to Lenovo, the IdeaPad Pro 5 14 and IdeaPad Pro 5 16 Ryzen Edition will be available in May 2023, with prices starting at 1,099 euros (about 8,133 CNY). The Core version will be available in April next year, with prices starting at 1,199 euros (about 8,873 CNY).
