When the RTX 4060 graphics card is about to go on the market, Nvidia officially released a new blog post, introducing this graphics card again. Nvidia emphasized that the RTX 4060 has less power consumption, the graphics card will run cooler, and the fans will run at a quieter speed.
Nvidia tested Dying Light 2 and compared the RTX 4060 graphics card to older RTX 3060, 2060, and 1060 graphics cards.
As shown in the figure above, the power consumption of RTX 4060 is significantly lower than that of RTX 2060 and RTX 3060, and the performance is also significantly improved (under DLSS3 blessing).
In terms of performance, the official said that the performance of the RTX 4060 after enabling DLSS 3 frame generation technology is 1.7 times that of the RTX 3060, 2.3 times that of the RTX 2060, and 14 times that of the GTX 1060. Without frame generation enabled, the performance is 1.2 times that of RTX 3060, 1.6 times that of RTX 2060, and 8 times that of GTX 1060. (GTX 1060 does not support DLSS)
The RTX 4060 desktop graphics card will be available on June 29, starting at 2399 CNY from the Bank of China.
