According to Wccftech, NVIDIA’s upcoming GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card will likely launch on January 5, 2023 (available for purchase on launch day). The card will be unveiled to the general public on January 3, and reviews of the card may be lifted on January 4, with products available the next day.

This will mean media and social media majors can get the card early and possibly test it over the Christmas holidays. The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is expected to be showcased at CES 2023, which opens to the public on January 5 and to the media a few days earlier.

The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is reportedly a rebrand of the RTX 4080 12 GB, which was supposed to launch with the RTX 4080 16 GB on November 16; as NVIDIA faces social and media pushback over its controversial naming, This SKU has been cancelled because its hardware specs are significantly different from the RTX 4080 16 GB, which may confuse buyers.

In fact, the first RTX 4080 12 GB cards were probably already boxed and ready to ship at the time, so NVIDIA issued a rebranding guide to its board partners after the product was canceled, and reimbursed the cost of all printed packaging. Whether Nvidia sticks to the SKU’s $900 MSRP pricing remains to be seen.
