@Momomo_US found that four non-public GeForce RTX 4060 Ti graphics cards of the same German version have appeared on the website of Russian distributor Marvel.ru, revealing some of the parameters of the cards.
- Palit GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Dual OC 8 GB 128-bit
- Palit GeForce RTX 4060 Ti StormX OC 8 GB 128-bit
- Palit GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Dual 8 GB 128-bit
- Palit GeForce RTX 4060 Ti StormX 8 GB 128-bit
All four cards are equipped with 8GB of GDDR6 memory running through a 128bit, 288 GB/s interface, which is relatively lower than the RTX 3060 Ti’s 256bit bit width and therefore 36% slower, but it has a larger L2 cache (32MB), which will help ease bandwidth pressure. The StormX model features a dual-slot, single-fan design and is an SFF standard card for Mini-ITX chassis.
Compared to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, the RTX 4060 Ti specs look really mediocre on paper, however the RTX 4060 Ti does use the latest TSMC 4N process and Ada Lovelace architecture, so performance is definitely up, but the question is how much higher is the pricing?
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti is rumored to have 4352 CUDA cores, 11% less than the RTX 3060 Ti. As a result, the RTX 4060 Ti will also have fewer Tensor and RT cores, but will still have improved AI and ray tracing performance thanks to its new architecture and process.
According to early speculation, the RTX 4060 Ti could debut at 2310 MHz to 2535 MHz, with some factory-overclocked models boosted to 2685 MHz. The RTX 4060 Ti is said to deliver 22.06 TFLOP of FP32 performance, which is 36% higher than the RTX 3060 Ti.
The card is expected to use the PG190 SKU 361 PCB, with either the standard 16-pin 12VHPWR connector or the 8-pin connector available from the AIB manufacturer. As for TDP, the card is expected to be in the 150-160W range, about 25% lower than the RTX 3060 Ti.
Previously rumored that NVIDIA will begin distributing GeForce RTX 4060 Ti cards to the channel on May 5, is expected to be officially launched at the end of May, pricing close to $399-449 (currently about RMB 3107).
