As more data is lifted, you will see more detailed evaluation results about the RTX 4060 this week. Of course, the official ban will be lifted on Wednesday, but NVIDIA is now exempting one specific game from the ban — Cyberpunk 2077.
Now some reviewers have given the complete benchmark results, including the performance when DLSS or frame generation technology is enabled in “Cyberpunk 2077”.
In fact, “Cyberpunk 2077” is very friendly to NVIDIA graphics cards, and the graphics card performs well with DLSS2 and DLSS 3 enabled, and with ray tracing turned on.
For now, the RTX 4060 is not strong in overclocking, but the good news is that Nvidia does not limit the TDP adjustment range. JayzTwoCents showed the test results of his ASUS RTX 4060 and found that the TDP can be adjusted by up to 20%, which is about 132W.

It is noticed that even if the RTX 4060 is overclocked to a higher TDP, the frequency is only increased by 100 MHz, which does not actually bring much improvement. The average frame rate in “Cyberpunk 2077” is only from 80.80 FPS That went up to 82.33 FPS, a mere 1.2% improvement at 1080p Ultra settings.
According to foreign media analysis, this is likely because the RTX 4060 has reached the limit of its capabilities with ray tracing enabled.
