According to the clues of Chiphell netizen “Lun Feng Ningxing”, graphics card manufacturers will soon launch RTX 3050 8GB graphics cards with GA107 GPUs, which consume less power than the original GA106 version.
The new version of the RTX 3050 is still a 2560 stream processor, and the video memory is still a 128-bit 8GB GDDR6 model, but the power consumption has been reduced from 130W to 115W.
The full GA106 core is reported to have 3840 CUDA cores, and the GA107 core is smaller and the full version has 2560 CUDA cores. The GA107 GPU version of the RTX 3050 graphics card will retain the same specs as the current model, as the GA107 and GA106 GPUs are pin-compatible, so no new PCB is required either.
On January 27 this year, the Nvidia RTX 3050 graphics card officially went on sale, starting at 1,899 CNY.
