Nvidia DLSS 3 has compatibility issues with Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 Next-Gen on AMD Ryzen 7000 Series CPU

According to the test report released by foreign technology media DSOGaming, AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPU and Nvidia DLSS 3 technology have compatibility problems, which caused the running of “Cyberpunk 2077” to freeze.

The test platform used by this medium includes AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, 32GB DDR5 at 6000Mhz and NVIDIA’s RTX 4090. The system uses a 64-bit Win10 system, and the GeForce 531.61 driver update is installed.

After enabling DLSS3 frame generation technology, two games, The Witcher 3 Next-Gen and Cyberpunk 2077, experienced noticeable stuttering.

With Intel processors and Nvidia graphics, there is no such problem. In this regard, the foreign technology media WccFetch believes that the culprit is that the game studio CD Projekt Red did not optimize REDEngine enough.

The good news is that DLSS 3 Frame Generation works fine in other games, running smoothly in Forza Horizon 5, Microsoft Flight Simulator and Hogwarts Legacy.
