According to Nothing’s official press release, Nothing company will launch Nothing OS 2.5.5 update for its series of phones in the near future. The relevant update has been pushed to Nothing Phone (2), and other phones will have to wait a while. .
According to reports, Nothing OS 2.5.5 mainly integrates OpenAI’s ChatGPT function, improves applications such as cameras, and fixes a series of bugs. The main updates compiled are as follows:
Integrate ChatGPT
Officials have launched a series of customization features for the ChatGPT application. Users can now use new gesture options to invoke voice conversations in ChatGPT for Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear(a).
A new ChatGPT widget has been added that allows users to launch ChatGPT in different modes from their phone’s home screen for faster access.
Added a button on the screenshot and clipboard popup to paste content directly into a new conversation in ChatGPT.

The camera now supports Ultra XDR. To set up, go to Camera Settings > Ultra XDR.
In the Camera app, Photo and Portrait modes now have an HDR toggle that users can activate or deactivate through the settings at the top of the interface.
