Nothing Company recently launched the Nothing OS 2.5 Beta update based on Android 14 for the Nothing Phone (2) and will subsequently adapt to the first-generation Nothing Phone.

The Nothing OS 2.5 update is currently in testing status and must have many bugs, making it not suitable for daily use. After upgrading, if users feel uncomfortable, they can roll back to version 2.0.3.

Attached are the main contents of this update as follows:

The widget library interface has been updated, and the Nothing widget is displayed more clearly.

In line with the Nothing design style, the return gesture is redesigned.

There is an option to hide app icons on the home screen and app drawer, accessible by swiping right in the app drawer.

Take a quick screenshot with a three-finger swipe.

Customizable double-click power button provides quick access to preferred functions.

Improved home screen and lock screen customization pages to provide a comprehensive view of options.

Introducing glass filters for unique wallpaper customization.
