We already know that the Nothing Phone (1) will launch with Snapdragon 778G+ processor. What we now know is the Geekbench score of this device. This information adds up to the bits and pieces we have been able to gather concerning this device.

Carl Pei and his have been working tirelessly not only on the launch of this device but also on the hype. Geekbench gives the Phone (1) a single-core score of 797 and a multi-score of 2803. The Geekbench listing also affirms the operating system of this device to be Android 12. It’d run alongside the Nothing OS with customizations and additional features.

Asides from the benchmark score of this device, there are also some other revelations about its launch. The first is that it won’t be available in the US and other North American regions. Most influential tech personalities view this as being a weak decision from the company.

But, considering the undeniable dominance of the iPhone in that region, it will be hard for Nothing to have any breathing space. The idea to grow in other regions with Android dominance is a marketing strategy from Nothing. Possibly shortly after Nothing has gained ground it might launch a new device in the US.

The initial launch of this device will also play out to be very interesting. Instead of using a regular launch pattern and waiting for orders, Nothing Phone (1) will first sell by invite. This will help the company focus on its community and serve them first. Hence, building value for the product and maybe gambling its way into the hearts of more people.
