Nokia T21 tablet sneaked ahead of schedule, expected to be released in December

HMD showed off the Nokia T21 tablet in September this year, but it didn’t officially reveal the launch date of the Nokia T21. Now the retailer Multitronic has brought forward the model, suggesting that the Nokia T21 could go on sale in mid-December.

The Nokia T21 (4+128GB) version is expected to be available from December 10 to December 12, while the 4+64GB version is expected to be available from December 28 to December 30.

From the previous official announcement, Nokia T21 is equipped with a ZTE T612 chip and features a 10.4-inch LCD screen with 2000 x 1200 resolution (15:9), it supports an active stylus (Wacom WGP and Wacom Active ES 2.0), and it can also be used as a secondary display for Windows PC.

The ZTE T612 is ZTE’s new 8-core LTE mobile platform, designed with DynamIQ’s next-generation small and large core architecture, released on January 1, 2022, and built on a 12nm process with two 1800MHz Cortex-A75 and six 1800MHz Cortex-A55 cores.

The tablet supports dual SIM and 4G LTE networks, runs Android 12, has 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage, expandable up to 512GB with a microSD card. HMD promises 2 OS updates and 3 years of monthly security patches for the tablet.

The Nokia T21 features an 8 MP front camera (8 MP camera on the rear) and an aluminum body that is IP52-rated for water and dust resistance.

In addition, the Nokia T21 has a built-in 8200mAh battery (rated at 800 cycles), supports up to 18W fast charging and PD 3.0, offers a USB-C 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Nokia T21 tablet comes in a charcoal gray design, is available in 4/64 GB and 4/128 GB storage configurations, offers Wi-Fi and 4G/LTE options and starts at an average MSRP of 239 EUR (~Rs. 1761) and 273 EUR (~Rs. 2012) worldwide.
