HMD Global launched the entry-level Nokia C12 phone in January this year and the C12 Pro model in March. Now, Nokia Mobile has released a new phone, the C12 Plus.
The Nokia C12 Pro is basically the C12 with a bigger battery (4000mAh vs. 3000mAh), while the C12 Plus is the C12 Pro with a different memory configuration.
The Nokia C12 Pro phone is available in 2GB+64GB and 3GB+64GB configurations, but the Nokia C12 Plus is only available in a single 2GB+32GB configuration that supports a microSD card slot for up to 256GB of expandable storage.
The Nokia C12 Plus has been listed on Nokia India’s website with an unnamed ZTE Unisoc octa-core CPU with a quad-core maximum clock frequency of 1.6 Hz. This indicates that the Nokia C12 Plus uses the same chip as the standard and Pro models, the SC9863A1.
Other highlights of the Nokia C12 Plus include a 6.3-inch HD+ screen, 8 MP rear camera, 5 MP front camera and Android 12 Go version. The smartphone has a 3.5 mm headphone jack and microUSB port.
The Nokia C12 Plus is priced at INR 7999 in India (currently around RMB 669), but oddly enough, the Nokia C12 Pro with more RAM (3GB) and storage space (64GB) is priced at INR 7499 in Asian countries/regions (currently around RMB 627).
