HMD Global launched a cheap Android 12 Go version of the Nokia C12 in 2023.
The Nokia C12 features a 6.3-inch HD+ resolution LCD display, measures 160.6 x 74.3 x 8.75mm and weighs 177.4g.
The Nokia C12 is built with the ZTE Unisoc SC9863A1 chip, built on a 28nm process. It has eight Cortex-A55 cores (4 x 1.6GHz + 4 x 1.2GHz) and a PowerVR IMG 8322 GPU.
Nokia C12 phones come with 2GB of RAM, plus support for 2GB of virtual memory. Android Go Edition can run on devices with as little as 1GB of RAM, although some phone models come with up to 4GB of RAM. The phone also comes with 64GB of storage (eMMC 5.1), but does not support microSD expansion.
The phone has two cameras, a rear 8 MP camera (with autofocus and LED flash) and a front 5 MP selfie camera with night and portrait mode support.
The Nokia C12 is a 4G phone and other wireless connectivity options include Wi-Fi b / g / n and Bluetooth 5.2. Users can also plug a wired headset into the 3.5 mm jack. There is also a microUSB port.
The phone has a built-in 3000mAh battery (with “all-day battery life”) and 5W of charging power.
The Nokia C12 is made of a polycarbonate body that is tough and also supports drop protection with tempered glass on the front. HMD has committed to 2 years of quarterly security updates.
Nokia C12 is available in Light Mint, Dark Teal and Charcoal.
The 2GB+64GB version of the Nokia C12 is priced at 120 euros (currently about 877 CNY) and will be available in Germany and Austria first, and will expand to other markets later.
