The old NH-L9a-AM4 of Noctua is not compatible with the platform AM5, and the official has launched a new NM-AM5-L9aL9i installation kit for this purpose, which will enable NH-L9a, NH-L9a-AM4 and NH-L9i radiator upgraded to AM5 platform.
The new NH-L9a-AM5 adapts to the AMD AM5 platform, only 37mm high, dual heat pipes + 92mm fan, suitable for building a mini host on the AMD Ryzen 7000 platform. Looking at the specifications, the new NH-L9a-AM5 cooler is suitable for AMD Ryzen 7000 processors with 65W TDP. In addition, the official said that this radiator can also suppress the Ryzen 7000 X-series processor under 130W power consumption.
