In the recently held 20th Guangzhou International Auto Show, Dongfeng Nissan’s brand’s full range of models are on the scene.
Nissan said that the Nissan brand will adhere to the electric drive route of pure electricity and e-POWER, and launch new electric drive products in 2023, including the standard range version of ARIYA and the new generation of Kijun e-POWER.
In addition, the Qichen brand also officially released a new energy transformation strategy and launched the first concept model Ve concept based on the Qichen V-π native pure electric platform, as well as the first model of Qichen DD-i super hybrid technology Qichen big V DD-i super hybrid.
Nissan said that in the next five years, its Nissan, Qichen, and Infiniti three brands will put more than 20 new vehicles, covering traditional fuel cars and new energy models. By 2025, Dongfeng Nissan will deploy electric drive technology, including Zero Emission and e-Power hybrid, in nine models, so that electrified models will account for 40% of sales.
According to “Nissan Motor Vision 2030”, Nissan plans to invest 2 trillion yen (about 105.2 billion yuan) in the next five years to accelerate the layout of electric drive products and technological innovation, and launch 23 electric drive models, including 15 pure electric models, by the fiscal year 2030. By FY2030, it is expected that the share of pure electric vehicles in the Chinese and North American markets will exceed 40%. The rejuvenated Qichen brand will introduce a number of new energy series starting in 2023 to fully transform into new energy.
According to the introduction, in the spring of 2023, Dongfeng Nissan plans to launch four new electric drive products. Qichen will focus on the field of new energy, will no longer develop pure fuel new cars, and will launch no less than 2 new energy models every year in the future.
