Nissan releases official images of five 90th anniversary models

Recently, Nissan officially released a set of official photos of the 90th anniversary edition models, including a total of five models, namely Sakura, Leaf, Note, Note Aura and Serena. Nissan was born on December 26, 1933, and will celebrate its 90th birthday in a few days. Compared with the regular edition models, these commemorative edition models have added exclusive bronze color decoration on the exterior and interior. This color is very common on modified wheel rims in Japan.

● Note 90th Anniversary Edition

Let’s take a look at the Note 90th Anniversary Edition first. The car is positioned as a small hatchback. The 90th Anniversary Edition model uses blackened wheels and is equipped with bronze decorative parts, giving this small car a golden mustache. In terms of power, the 90th Anniversary Edition is expected to be consistent with the regular version, and will continue to be equipped with the e-POWER extended-range power system consisting of a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine + electric motor, with a combined maximum power of 117 horsepower and a peak torque of 280 Nm. It is matched with a single-speed transmission and is available in four-wheel drive and front-wheel drive models.

● Serena 90th Anniversary Edition

Nissan Serena is positioned as a medium-sized MPV model. The 90th anniversary commemorative edition released this time has two cars, white and red. The white car looks simpler, with bronze trim strips added to the upper edge of the center grille and rearview mirror housing, and bronze wheels. The red car is optionally equipped with black + bronze body embroidery on the engine bonnet.

In terms of power, the Serena 90th Anniversary Edition is expected to be consistent with the regular version. There will be two options. One is a combination of a 2.0L inline four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine and a CVT gearbox. The maximum power of the engine is 150 horsepower. The second is the e-POWER petrol-electric hybrid system, which uses a 1.4L inline three-cylinder naturally aspirated engine with a maximum power of 98 horsepower, while the maximum power of the electric motor is 163 horsepower, and the transmission system is matched with a single-speed gearbox. As for the drive mode, the gasoline version is available in two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, while the e-POWER version is only available in two-wheel drive.

● Nissan Leaf 90th Anniversary Edition

A bronze trim strip is also added to the lower part of the rear of the car, and it is equipped with a new style of blackened multi-spoke wheels.

The interior seats also use bronze stitching, and a 90th anniversary commemorative logo is added on the side of the seat to show the exclusive feel of the commemorative edition model. In terms of power, the car uses pure electric drive, equipped with 110kW motor and 160kW motor, and provides two different lithium battery packs of 40kWh and 60kWh. Among them, the 40kWh battery pack has a cruising range of 270 kilometers under WLTP operating conditions, and the 62kWh battery pack has a maximum cruising range of 385 kilometers under WLTP operating conditions.

● Nissan Sakura 90th Anniversary Edition

Nissan Sakura is positioned as a pure electric hatchback mini car and is a standard K-Car model. In terms of appearance, the new car has a new bronze trim strip on the rearview mirror housing, and optional bronze + black body embroidery on the hood, reflecting the uniqueness of the 90th anniversary model. The car adopts K-Car’s iconic square box shape, with a closed grille and luminous brand LOGO on the front face. In terms of power, the new car is expected to be consistent with the regular version, using pure electric drive with a maximum power of 47kW, a maximum torque of 195 N·m, a top speed of 130km/h, a cruising range of 180km, and support for external discharge functions.

● Nissan Note Aura 90th Anniversary Edition

Finally, there is the Nissan Note Aura 90th Anniversary Edition. The car is equipped with bronze “little fangs” on the lower part of the front of the car, and the rearview mirror housing is also equipped with bronze trim strips. In terms of power, the new car is expected to be consistent with the regular version and will be equipped with the upgraded second-generation e-POWER power system, which is composed of a 1.2L three-cylinder engine and an electric motor, with a combined maximum power of 117 horsepower and a peak torque of 280 Nm. , the transmission system is matched with a single-speed gearbox.
