On August 17th, NIO announced that Europe’s first third-generation power station and 500kW ultra-fast charging station were officially launched in Freehamnen, Stockholm, Sweden.
NIO said that this station is also the 6th power swapping station in Sweden and the 25th swapping station in Europe, and will continue to accelerate the layout of charging and swapping facilities in Europe.
As of August 17, NIO has deployed 25 power stations in Europe, 10 charging stations, 33 charging piles, and more than 500,000 three-party piles.
On NIO Day 2022, NIO released the third-generation power station. According to reports, compared with the previous generation, the third-generation battery replacement station has a 20% reduction in battery replacement time, and the number of battery positions has increased to 21.
The third-generation power exchange station adopts a new three-station coordinated power exchange mode, which improves the service capacity by 30% compared with the second-generation power exchange station. The replacement power station will also be equipped with 2 laser radars and 2 Nvidia OrinX chips, with a total computing power of 508TOPS, which can realize the function of calling and swapping vehicles.
In July 2023, NIO will deliver 20,462 new cars, a year-on-year increase of 103.6% and a month-on-month increase of 91.1%, and the delivery volume hit a record high.
In July this year, NIO delivered more than 10,000 new ES6s, and NIO’s monthly delivery of a single model exceeded 10,000 for the first time; from January to July 2023, NIO delivered a total of 75,023 new cars.
In addition, NIO added 9 NIO centers and spaces, 7 NIO service and delivery centers and 223 charging and swapping stations in July.
