A set of road test spy photos of the new NIO EC6 leaked online. It was previously reported that the NIO EC6 will complete product replacement this year. The new model will be based on the NIO NT2.0 platform, and It will be equipped with lidar.
From the road test spy photos, the new NIO EC6 adopts a slip-back design, which is similar to the EC7 overall. The rear of the car is equipped with a through-type taillight. According to the information disclosure, the car will also be equipped with an electric rear spoiler.
The spy photos did not show the interior design of the car, but it is speculated that the new Nio EC6 will adopt the same configuration as the Nio EC7, equipped with a 10.2-inch full LCD instrument and a 12.8-inch central control screen, and equipped with a Banyan car-machine system.
As for power, the new EC6 is expected to be equipped with the same powertrain as the ES6, equipped with a dual-motor four-wheel drive system, and provides two capacity battery packs of 75 kWh and 100 kWh.
The EC6 currently on sale is NIO’s first coupe SUV. It was officially released on NIO Day in 2019 and delivered in 2020. The price range is 396,000 to 496,000 CNY(75 kWh battery ).
