Li Bin said that for next year, don’t give up on the fierceness of market competition, but NIO will not exchange price for volume, but will exchange sales capabilities and system capabilities for sales.
He revealed that Nio’s key tasks in 2024 are: technology investment, sales and service system construction, and the development of nine cars under three brands.
In addition, NIO’s second brand will also be launched in the second half of next year. Li Bin revealed that the second brand is based on the family market, will not have too many models, and is efficiency-oriented. We will focus on cost-effectiveness, safety, comfort, etc. We hope that a single model will sell 50,000 to 60,000 units per month.
He emphasized that he would not make family-oriented models under the Nio brand with a price of less than 300,000 RMB because there is a second brand. Starting next year, because of the second brand, many of NIO’s practices will be different, because there are many differences between the home market and the high-end market.
