NIO officially announced that NIO’s new EC6, a smart electric coupe SUV, will be launched on September 15.

The car has completed the application for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The length, width and height of the new car are 4849/1995/1697 mm respectively. The wheelbase is 2915 mm. It provides 265/45R21 and 255/50R20 tires. The top speed is 200 km/h.
In terms of power, Weilai’s new EC6 motor model is YS150S001 / TZ210S001, and the power of the two motors is 150/210kW respectively.
Several car bloggers have already exposed spy photos of the new EC6’s appearance. From the appearance point of view, the new car maintains the same fastback coupe-SUV attitude as the previous generation EC6, and the body outline is further closer to its own ET5 sedan.
Compared with its “big brother” EC7, the new EC6 looks shorter and more compact, with a lower body posture. As for the NIO family’s iconic long strip of daytime running lights, the long strip of through-type taillights at the rear of the car, the three “horns” composed of roof lidar and cameras and none of them have been left behind.

The interior of the new car has not yet been announced, but it is not expected to be much different from other models developed based on the NT2.0 platform. The overall cockpit layout is expected to be consistent with the new ES6.
