NIO 500kW ultra-fast charging pile was officially launched. The official said that the charging pile has a maximum power of 500kW and a maximum current of 660A, which can significantly shorten the charging time, and will be deployed next March.
NIO 500kW super fast charging pile has the same dual C design as the exchange station, with LOGO lights and a 15.6-inch LCD display, making it easy to find the station and view charging information at night. The lance enclosure is equipped with a ring-shaped light strip to quickly identify the status of the pile by its color and make it easy for users to retrieve the lance at night.
The NIO 500kW super fast charging pile is open to all electric vehicle owners, and the charging speed is said to be as fast as 20 minutes for a 400V model and 12 minutes for an 800V model, from 10% to 80%.
In addition, the NIO 500kW ultra-fast charger uses a self-taught ultra-lightweight liquid-cooled charging gun cable that weighs less than half of a traditional charging gun cable and can be easily charged with one hand. Intelligent temperature control can increase the cooling capacity by 380% for better-charging capability.
