Nintendo Direct live event, Nintendo launched the “Super Mario Bros Marvel” limited edition Switch OLED console.

According to reports, this Nintendo Switch OLED console will be available on October 6, two weeks before Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
As one of Nintendo’s signature IPs, Nintendo has always been very attached to the Super Mario series. In fact, Nintendo has previously released a Mario-themed Switch for Super Mario 3D World + Wrath of Kuba.

Announced in June, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is the first new Mario platformer since the release of Super Mario 3D World + Kuban’s Wrath in 2021, and the only Mario game released this year.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a platformer that puts players in control of characters from the Mario universe as they attempt to stop the villainous Bowser (Cool Buster / Kub). Players traverse whimsical environments while jumping on the heads of enemies, throwing projectiles/objects at them, or throwing small fireballs to knock them off the screen. Boss battles consist of more fights against giant enemies that spit fire and pulverize parts of the scene.

The game is said to support 1 to 4 players playing together (with Joy-Cons available), so there are a lot of gamers who are more interested in whether or not this game can be played online. According to the latest information on the Nintendo Store, the game’s “Online play” details will be introduced later, so the game offers multiplayer online play.
