Nezha Auto released Haozhi Strategy 2.0, including smart cabin

Nezha Automobile Technology Day held today, Nezha Automobile released a brand new “Haozhi Strategy 2.0”, which unveiled five major technologies and products at one time, including Haozhi Supercomputer, Haozhi Skateboard Chassis, Haozhi extended range and Haozhi thermal control cover pure electric and extended range routes, involving all technologies from smart cabin, smart driving to three electric fields.

In addition, Nezha Automobile also announced that these technologies will be open to the entire industry. According to Nezha Auto, in fact, overseas car companies have been communicating with them. The industry speculates that Nezha Auto will also cooperate with foreign car companies or new forces.

The new Haozhi skateboard chassis technology adopts a new platform, adopts a new generation of EEI central electrical architecture, CTC battery system, and a full-wire control chassis, supports 400V and 800V dual platforms, accelerates from zero to 100 in only 3.5 seconds, consumes 11kWh per 100 kilometres, and lasts for 15 minutes after charging Increased by 500km, the maximum speed is 200km/h, and the battery life of CLTC exceeds 1000km.

The skateboard chassis technology also supports integrated die-casting + energy cabin, which increases the space by 14%, reduces the number of parts and solder joints, has the characteristics of high integration and high precision, reduces the weight of the lower body by 16%, shortens the research and development cycle by 30%, and greatly improves production Efficiency, adapted to the XPC supercomputing platform, with a computing power of 1000 TOPS, and L4 and L5 intelligent driving upgrade capabilities.

The platform realizes the decoupling of the upper and lower car bodies, and is suitable for cars, SUVs, MPVs, station wagons, pickups and other models, and also has a “no heat spread capability cabin system”, which is known as zero intrusion of batteries, no damage in the cabin, and IP68+ ( Continuous 72h), supports up to 800V / 4C fast charging, and can get 200km battery life after charging for five minutes.

In addition, Nezha Automobile also released a 180kW electric drive system and a 250kW high-voltage SiC electric drive system, which support high-strength spokes, have a new SVPWM algorithm, reduce electrical corrosion, and improve NVH performance. The first 180kW / 200kW product is planned to be released in October this year Produce.

Both electric drive products have a three-in-one structure, realizing the high-speed integration of motors, reducers and controllers. The performance results brought about by high integration include: 4850 N m torque, zero-to-hundred acceleration of a single motor <6S, maximum motor speed of 20,000 rpm, and interior noise of fewer than 38 decibels, etc.

The Haozhi supercomputing platform launched by Nezha Automobile mainly includes three parts, namely the integrated gateway domain control, the integrated central domain control, and the central supercomputing platform. Among them, the integrated gateway domain controller and integrated central domain controller will follow the new car SOP in May 2024.

According to reports, Haozhi’s central brain uses an AI processor with a computing power of over 1000 TOPS, the front cabin and the left and right three regional controllers (the regional controller adopts Infineon’s Aurix-TC3xx series multi-core high-security processor), and supports 1TB level Shared storage above the car specification level. Nezha Motor said that the product has completed conceptual design and program demonstration, and will be mass-produced and delivered in 2025.

Simply put, its integrated central domain control technology can connect various sensors and actuators distributed in different areas such as the front cabin, left side, and right side of the vehicle (including one S32G3 chip in the smart cabin and 1~2 Orin-X smart driving chip), and finally aggregate the data to the central brain for centralized dispatching computing power for processing (with 508 TOPS computing power and 400+ KDMIPS), which can realize functions such as high-speed piloting, memory parking, and city piloting. And users can also customize and design the functions of their cars according to their own car habits.

On the other hand, the integrated gateway domain control has rich interface expansion performance, including 14 channels of CAN and 9 channels of Ethernet, which can be flexibly adapted to the whole vehicle and can also realize intelligent gateway, power domain control, thermal management, body control, etc. function.

It is worth mentioning that under this central-regional framework, Nezha Automobile stated that the wiring harness of the vehicle can be reduced by 1.5 km, the weight can be reduced by 10 kg, and the cruising range can be increased by 5%. The most important thing is that this solution has completed conceptual design and program demonstration, and will be delivered in mass production in 2025.

In addition, this central computing architecture will also add AI large models to achieve high-level autonomous driving. In addition, the staff said that Nezha S is now preparing to connect to the cloud large model, and there will also be a tailored local large model on the car.

Nezha Automobile also emphasized the new heat pump air-conditioning technology, which will improve performance from three aspects: low energy consumption, wide temperature range, and high integration:

  1. Low energy consumption. The cooling and heating power consumption of the rear heat pump air conditioner is less than 800 watts, and the power consumption is only 0.8 degrees per hour. Even in winter, the heat pump can increase battery life by 20%.
  2. Wide temperature range. The system operates down to minus 35°C.
  3. High integration. Application of dual-source (air source, waste heat source generated by the three-electric system) low-temperature heat pump, multi-system strong coupling architecture and integrated integrated modules. This reduces the amount of piping in the system by 20% and reduces the weight by 20%.

According to reports, the four highlights of Nezha Auto’s Haozhi range-extending technology are as follows:

  • High efficiency: Atkinson engine for high-efficiency range-extending is adopted, and the high-efficiency area of the generator and engine overlaps by 93%.
  • High NVH performance: the generator rotor is directly connected to the crankshaft, no gear transmission noise
  • High intelligence: Energy management can be intelligently predicted, and power generation strategy control is based on people-vehicle-road
  • High integration: direct connection between generator and engine, integrated design of flywheel rotor, integration of generator and controller.

Nezha Automobile revealed that the Haozhi Extended Range System has undergone 1 million kilometres of vehicle verification, -35°C~45°C low temperature, high-temperature verification, and 4000m altitude plateau environment test.
