As a mid-term facelift version, the new Taycan will have some adjustments in appearance. At the front of the car, it will use a new style of headlight set. At present, the vents on both sides of the front enclosure of all public test cars are disguised with black stickers, and this is expected to change. From the side and rear, the new car will not change much. However, according to previous news, the new model will add a high-performance version with the GT suffix and be equipped with a sportier body kit.
Officials stated that the new Taycan has completed 3.6 million kilometers of testing. The new car’s battery charging system has been significantly upgraded, and combined with a reliable thermal management system, the charging time in low-temperature environments has been shortened by nearly half.
In addition, in early January, Porsche officials also announced that the new Taycan set a new lap time at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7 minutes, 07 seconds and 55 seconds, surpassing the current model by 26 seconds. It is reported that the high-performance version mentioned above may be equipped with three electric motors and have a power performance of more than 1,000 horsepower.
