The source @brandedflasch recently found two Tesla Cybertrucks on a trailer on American roads. The biggest highlight is the text “Completed Crash Ready” (ready to complete the crash test) posted on the window of one of the Cybertrucks.
From the photos, there are no bumps, indicating that Tesla is planning to transport these Cybertrucks pickups for crash testing.
It is learned from reports that the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has a vehicle research center in Larksville, Virginia, and the location where the Cybertrucks were discovered is about 13 hours away from the center.
The Cybertrucks were spotted about 11 hours away from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) Vehicle Research and Testing Center (VRTC) in East Liberty, Ohio.
Tesla currently announced that the first Cybertrucks rolled off the assembly line at the Texas Gigafactory, but has yet to announce a specific delivery date. Before official delivery, it is more reasonable to ship to IIHS or NHTSA for crash testing.
