Mercedes-Benz officially released the new Mercedes-Benz V-Class, Mercedes-Benz EQV, Mercedes-Benz Vito, Mercedes-Benz Vito New Energy and other models overseas. These models are all high-end MPVs based on the same platform, mainly for business and family use. The new car has obvious improvements in appearance and interior, and the overall is more refined and luxurious. It is reported that the new car will be the first to be launched overseas in 2024, and the domestic launch time has not yet been announced.


It is noticed that the biggest highlight of the new V-Class in terms of appearance is the design of the front face, which adopts a wider front grille and provides a new “Starlight” front grille as an option. The grid is composed of many Mercedes-Benz LOGOs, which are very individual and recognizable. In addition, the new V-Class is also equipped with adaptive LED headlights, and users can also choose adaptive LED headlights with 84 individually adjustable LEDs. As a pure electric MPV of Mercedes-Benz, the new EQV also has its own characteristics. Its front grille is closed, highlighting the identity of a pure electric model. At the same time, it is also blackened to increase the sense of movement. The side of the new model maintains the common style of MPV, with smooth and concise lines. Among them, the V-level and EQV are equipped with a left sliding door as standard, which is convenient for passengers to get in and out of the car.




In terms of interior, the new models all adopt a dual-screen design and integrate the latest MBUX infotainment system. The dashboard of the Vito and Vito New Energy is a 5.5-inch color screen, and the central control screen is a 10.25-inch touchscreen; while the V-Class and EQV are equipped with dual 12.3-inch displays. At the same time, the new model also adds many practical and comfortable functions, such as wireless charging pad for mobile phones, steering wheel heating, 64-color ambient light, dark rear lighting, etc.


In terms of intelligent driving, the new car has upgraded and improved driving assistance functions, including active lane keeping assistance, intelligent speed assistance and blind spot assistance.
In terms of power, the new internal combustion engine model will add a 48V light hybrid system to the existing gasoline engine and diesel engine to improve fuel economy and power output. In terms of transmission, the new car is matched with a 9-speed automatic manual gearbox. In addition, the new car has also optimized and adjusted the chassis and four-wheel drive system. The official did not mention the power changes of the pure electric model EQV, which means that, like the current model, it is equipped with an electric motor that can produce 201 hp (150 kW / 204 PS) and 362 Nm (267 lb-ft) of torque, providing two different The battery capacity is 60 kWh for the EQV 250 and 90 kWh for the EQV 300, and the battery life is 418 kilometers.
