Mercedes-Benz officially revealed that the new Mercedes-Benz CLE will be launched on March 26. The new car was already unveiled at last year’s Guangzhou Auto Show.
It is learned that as the successor to the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe and E-Class Coupe, this new car is positioned as a two-door coupe and is expected to be available in hardtop and convertible versions. In terms of body size, the car’s length, width and height are 4850/1860/1428 (hardtop)/1430 (convertible) mm respectively, the wheelbase is 2865mm, and 18 to 20-inch wheels are available.
This new car adopts this new family-style front face design. The fastback shape on the side is very sporty. The dual-segment LED taillights are connected through the central fascia, giving it a through-type visual effect. The car is equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument, an 11.9-inch center console LCD screen, the third-generation MBUX interactive system, integrated sports seats, Berlin Sound audio, etc.
In terms of power, the car will be equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine with a maximum output of 190kW and a maximum torque of 400N·m. It will be matched with a 9-speed automatic manual transmission and provide a four-wheel drive system.
