The new Sonata is based on the unified design of Hyundai’s global ONE MODEL, with a more fashionable appearance and sportier performance. It is planned to be pre-sold in January 2024 and launched in March.
The new Sonata made its debut at the 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show. Based on the unified design of the global ONE MODEL, the car is inspired by star battleships and has a more youthful and technological atmosphere overall. The split headlight set is equipped with a through-type daytime running light in the center, and with a large trapezoidal air intake below, it looks very futuristic.
Coming to the side of the car, the new car adopts a coupe-style curve. The waistline design is full of power and has a strong sporty attribute. At the rear, it adopts the popular through-type taillight set and has very rich lines. In addition, the N Line version adopts a bilateral exhaust layout with four exhaust outlets, exclusive logos on the fenders, and will be provided with 19-inch wheels.
In terms of interior, the car adopts an integrated screen design composed of dual 12.3-inch screens and adds a curved visual effect. Together with the new style three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, it looks very high-quality. At the same time, the car will be equipped with a large-size sunroof, 12-speaker BOSE audio, and multiple adjustments to the main driver’s seat to enhance the driving experience.
In terms of power, according to the application information, the new car will be equipped with 1.5T and 2.0T turbocharged engines, with the former having a maximum power of 125 kilowatts and the latter having a maximum power of 184 kilowatts.
