FAW officially announced that the new Hongqi H9 will be launched at the Beijing Auto Show. The official has previously announced the appearance of this model.
As an annual facelift model, the new Hongqi H9 has undergone minor upgrades and adjustments in appearance. The biggest changes are mainly concentrated in the front face. For example, the LED daytime running lights are integrated with the front grille, and the shape of the internal light source has also changed. Changes, the low and high beam light groups below have a larger styling area, and a dot matrix design is also added to the straight waterfall front grille.
In addition, the new Hongqi H9 wheel hub style also adopts a multi-spoke shape, which looks more high-end. The sides and rear of the car have not changed much. The new car still uses a fastback design, and the exhaust pipes are integrated into the rear bumper.
In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new Hongqi H9 are 5137/1904/1498mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3060mm. It is noticed that Hongqi also offers an extended model called “H9+” with a wheelbase and body length extended by 200mm.
According to the information filed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Hongqi H9 will provide four power versions, namely 1.8T, 2.0T, 2.5T, and 3.0T. The 2.0T engine has not yet been confirmed for sale.
Among the other three power specifications, the 1.8T engine has a maximum power of 165kW / 224 horsepower; the 2.5T V6 engine has a maximum power of 223kW / 303 horsepower; the top model still uses a 3.0T V6 engine, with a maximum power of 248kW / 337 horsepower.
